I created Exploring Photography because when I first began learning photography, I always felt something was missing. Like I didn't fully understand what they were teaching.
I finally figured it out. When I was trying to learn something, the person teaching always skipped the beginning steps assuming I already knew them... as a beginner, I did not and this left me more confused then ever!

My name is Will Simpson
I picked up a camera for the first time in early 2019. I was the one who would give his phone to someone else to take the photo because I had no clue what to do. When I finally picked up a real camera for the first time, I fell in love. I spent all my time learning, practicing and educating myself on the art. I was obsessed!
Since then I have been featured in magazines and galleries, won awards and traveled the world taking photos. However, everywhere I go I find myself talking to other photographers, learning myself and helping them as well. I greatly enjoy teaching others what I have learned and inspiring them to take photos that they will be proud of!
